C.B.I. Academy Preschool is a ten month preschool with an additional eight week summer program. Our main goal is to ensure a safe and loving environment for all of our students. Our preschool programs provide a curriculum that recognizes and expands a child's interests, strengths, and abilities. Our preschool program will help prepare a child for school success in four areas of development. They are Physical, Social-Emotional, Cognitive, and Creative Expression.
Physical development increases children's large muscle skills through balancing, throwing, and catching and to increase small muscle skills in their hands through a variety of experiences such as drawing, painting, and writing.
Social-emotional development helps children develop a sense of well-being and independence. They make new friends and learn to be a member of a class community. Cognitive development increases children's language skills so that they may communicate their ideas and feelings. This includes thinking skills that will help them solve problems. Creative Expression development helps children use music and art to explore their creativity.
